Building the Landing Page for Midway

I’m a long way to finish building Midway (we can make the case that building a product is not something you « finish ») but at least I have an MVP to evaluate its potential value.

When the idea of Midway came, my first instinct was to build a « fake door » i.e. a marketing website showcasing a product that doesn’t exist yet. The goal is to capture the intent via CTA buttons to learn more about the product and join a waiting list.

That’s when the first iteration of « video coding » tools appeared and so I decided to build this MVP. But the need to « explain » what Midway is and capture the demand is still there, so I created a landing page.

It contains the bare minimum: the features, mockups of the app, a FAQ section, and some « testimonials ». I still have a lot to learn about SEO and I need to augment the marketing website with content showcasing the different use cases using the right keywords, etc., but I got the first version out of the gates.
