Putting a price on your group travel plan

You can now see the flight prices for a destination your group can reach. This was one of the main pieces of data missing in the process of selecting a city to meet.

Thanks to the Kayak Flights Price Insights API, when you select a destination, we will display the cheapest price for a round-trip ticket (for example with Barcelona and Berlin).

The currency used is based on the language of your browser, but you can change it in the options bar.

If you have selected a specific month, we will show you the cheapest flight for this period; otherwise, we will display the cheapest month and price.

The data is based on Kayak’s own users’ searches. Therefore, for low-traffic destinations, we won’t have data. However, you can still initiate a live flight search on Kayak’s website. (Midway earns a commission from flights booked through these links.)

We can’t fetch all the data points at once to filter the destinations based on price or sort them in the table. We’ll iterate on this process if the API provides satisfactory results.
